Job Summary

Relationship Executive in Emerging Middle Market Banking is the focal point for client acquisition and ongoing relationships, developing and retaining profitable relationships within the Emerging Middle Market target space (typically companies with $20M–$100M in revenue). Responsibilities include staying current on industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships, improving efficiency through automation and new technologies, and developing weekly sales plans to prioritize revenue opportunities, cultivate referral sources, and institutionalize relationships and calling. The role requires engaging with CEOs and CFOs, collaborating with internal partners, and delivering strategic financial solutions through commercial banking products and services.

Required Qualifications

  • Seven plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
  • Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
  • Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
  • Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
  • Deep local connections and market knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
  • Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
  • Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
