Job Summary
Relationship Executive in Emerging Middle Market Banking responsible for client acquisition and ongoing relationships, targeting companies with revenues from $20M to $100M. Role involves developing weekly sales plans, cultivating referral sources, and leveraging commercial banking products to provide strategic financial advice. Requires senior sales and relationship-management capabilities, deep local market knowledge, ability to engage with CEOs/CFOs, and a proactive, proactive, business-development mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
