Job Summary
Relationship Executive in Emerging Middle Market Banking; focal point for client acquisition and ongoing relationships. Works independently and with internal partners to introduce comprehensive solutions to clients, targeting companies with $20M-$100M in annual revenue. Responsibilities include developing a weekly sales plan, cultivating referral sources, and institutionalizing relationships; requires engagement with CEOs and CFOs and strong credibility with senior partners. Seven+ years lending/credit support experience, knowledge of commercial banking products, and deep local market connections are essential. Bachelor's degree and formal credit training preferred; role may be subject to FDIC Act Section 19 checks.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
