Job Summary

Relationship Executive in Emerging Middle Market Banking focused on acquiring and growing profitable client relationships with companies typically generating $20M-$100M in revenue. Responsibilities include acting as the focal point for client acquisition and ongoing relationship management, collaborating with internal partners to tailor financial solutions, developing a weekly sales plan to prioritize revenue opportunities, cultivating referral sources, and leveraging industry trends to identify partnerships and opportunities for automation and innovation. Requires seven-plus years in lending or credit support related to business relationships, deep knowledge of commercial banking products and services, strong ability to engage with CEOs and CFOs, and a proven track record of meeting sales goals. Preferred Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training. Compliance note: employment contingent on review of criminal conviction history per applicable banking regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Seven plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
  • Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
  • Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
  • Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
  • Deep local connections and market knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
  • Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
  • Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
