Job Summary
Relationship Executive in Commercial Banking focuses on client acquisition and ongoing relationships, serving as the focal point for introducing comprehensive financial solutions to clients and growing profits within the Commercial Banking space. The role requires engaging with senior executives (CEOs/CFOs), developing weekly sales plans to prioritize revenue opportunities, cultivating referral sources, collaborating with internal partners, and leveraging industry knowledge to identify opportunities for innovation and strategic partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Corporate finance expertise and strong transaction execution skills
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses preferred or may be required within 180 days of hire
