Job Summary
Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and money orders while maintaining accurate cash drawer balancing and reconciling discrepancies daily. Greet members warmly, resolve inquiries promptly, and recommend products aligned with their needs, escalating complex issues to leadership. Ensure all transactions comply with Credit Union policies, including Bank Secrecy Act regulations, while maintaining strict confidentiality of member information. Support branch operations through opening/closing procedures, vault management, and assisting other teams. Maintain a professional, organized environment with appropriate appearance and positive attitude. High school diploma required; cash handling and customer service experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Cash handling experience (e.g., cashier, retail sales)
- Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Displays outstanding communication abilities and builds positive relationships with Members and Team Members
- Maintains a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail while processing financial transactions
- Works effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Handles multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing responsibilities to ensure timely completion of assignments
- Utilizes strong problem-solving skills and professionalism to address Member inquiries and resolve concerns
- Is physically capable of standing for extended periods, up to eight hours as needed
- Demonstrates proficiency in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Must be capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for periods of up to 8 hours or more
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Must be able to routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day
- Must be capable of climbing and descending stairs in emergency situations
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer, tablet, telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator
- Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management
- Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance, including Saturdays
- Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in a climate-controlled shared work environment with minimal noise

- Must be able to provide assistance to other branch teams and perform operational responsibilities as required, including support for opening and closing procedures and management of vault transactions
- Must be able to develop and maintain constructive relationships with Members and other Team Members
- Must be able to evaluate opportunities to introduce Mazuma's products, services, and marketing promotions that align with Members' needs
- Must be able to refer Members to specialists in the branch, business, mortgage, and wealth management when suitable

Desired Qualifications
