Job Summary
Develop new business relationships for the bank through networking and community-centered activities focused on depository accounts, treasury management tools, and loan referrals. Manage existing portfolios, track the pipeline from prospect to completion, and identify cross-selling opportunities for online banking demonstrations and third-party products. Collaborate with Commercial Relationship Managers and Operations Support to deliver tailored banking solutions while responding to Requests for Proposals and maintaining high client satisfaction. Actively participate in community events, nonprofit boards, and referral networks to enhance visibility and foster departmental synergy. Perform written and verbal communication tasks with integrity, adhering to all compliance rules and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience in relationship building/business development in the financial sector
- Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on MS Office Products to include Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of credit structures
- Ability to manage a complex workflow, prioritize tasks, while remaining organized
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work hours as scheduled
- Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment
- Highly proficient in common sense decision making
- Operate with the highest level of integrity, representing the bank while on duty and off
- Be knowledgeable of bank compliance rules and adhere to all Bank, Federal and State policies, procedures, and banking regulations relating to this position
