Job Summary
Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch who will acquire, manage, and retain client relationships using financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions, educate clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), and collaborate with team of experts while adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes delivering attentive, welcoming service, building trust through consultative communication, and meeting branch hours, including weekends and some evenings. The position requires high school degree or equivalent and licensing requirements (SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration; licenses obtained within 180 days).
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements
- All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- Preferred qualifications include College degree or military equivalent and experience adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators; NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance
