Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day banking operations by welcoming members, resolving issues, and educating them on digital tools to simplify their financial lives. Manage cash-handling and negotiable instruments while offering personalized service and innovative solutions that address specific member needs. Prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high attention to detail and effective time management skills. Work flexible branch hours, including Saturdays, to support the team's goal of positively impacting the financial well-being of the community.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of financial institution, banking, or credit union operations experience supporting customers in person or over the phone
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
- Proficiency in using common office applications and office equipment
- Passion for providing outstanding customer service
- Positive attitude
- Effective time management skills including prioritizing multiple responsibilities and organizing work tasks
- Experience in controlling negotiable instruments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail
- Ownership of the customer experience through issue resolution
- Adaptable to a productive team environment where knowledge is shared, and feedback and coaching are welcomed
- Flexibility to work branch hours, including Saturdays
