Job Summary
Relationship Banker at a Chase branch focusing on building and sustaining client relationships with attentive, hospitality-driven service. Responsibilities include meeting with clients in person and by phone to understand financial needs, tailoring product and service recommendations, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), and collaborating with the team to connect clients to experts for specialized financial needs. The role requires compliance with policies and regulatory banking requirements, and the ability to obtain required licenses (SIE, Series 6, state registration) within the stated timeframe; weekend/evening branch hours are expected.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- Note: This position requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act and may require licensing updates post-employment
