Job Summary
Support relationship building efforts within the branch by contributing to overall branch operations. Handle a variety of financial transactions and new account openings for individual and business clients while providing superior customer service. Engage with customers to meet their financial needs and make referrals to business partners. This dual role requires a passion for customer service and enthusiasm for teamwork. The position is based in Schererville, IN, with flexible hours including Saturday shifts. Candidates must have at least one year of job-related experience, preferably in banking or customer service, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year job-related experience preferably in a banking, sales or customer service environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including Saturday
- Monday-Friday: 8:15am - 5:15pm
- Saturday: 8:15am - 12:15pm
Desired Qualifications
- Banking experience
- Effective customer relationship building skills including ability to sell, cross-sell, and refer products
- Basic knowledge of retail products, policy and procedures, documentation and systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
