Job Summary
Relationship Banker in Chase Branch (New York, NY) focusing on acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships using financial knowledge to provide thoughtful solutions. Responsibilities include delivering attentive service to create a welcoming environment, meeting with clients in person or by phone, tailoring product and service recommendations, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), learning products and procedures quickly, collaborating with specialists to address complex financial needs, and adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Required qualifications include 1+ year of sales experience in retail banking or related industries, ability to create memorable client experiences, strong communication skills, problem-resolution abilities, risk/compliance awareness, and availability for weekend/evening hours. Education requirement is a high school degree or GED; SIE, FINRA Series 6, state licensing (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements with a licensing program available within 180 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include a college degree or military equivalent, experience with banking policies and regulatory requirements, and familiarity with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act and NMLS registration obligations.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements.
- All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided.
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originator (where applicable).
- NMLS registration under SAFE Act and related requirements (as applicable).
