Job Summary
Conduct client financial reviews and business financial reviews to uncover needs and originate consumer and small business loans. Maintain direct contact with external and internal clients while delivering customized solutions aligned with Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Perform proactive outbound phone calls and community business development meetings to build a pipeline of prospects. Independently support and resolve client issues with digital products and services, including online banking and bill pay platforms. Act as a Bank MLO for open-end transactions only, registering in compliance with SAFE Act requirements. Engage in community events, volunteerism, and financial literacy initiatives during and after business hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of banking and/or demonstrated sales experience
- 2 years developing current and new client relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources in banking or retail environment with client Service and cash handling experience
- 2 years in a lending function with loan origination and processing functions
- In-depth knowledge of Consumer and Business products and services
- Demonstrated proficiency in consumer and business lending
- Demonstrated proficiency in consumer lending and basic business lending skills
- Ability to understand cash flow, financial statements, and market risk
- Demonstrated desire and ability to build upon technology skills in various delivery channels, including online banking platforms, Bill Pay, E-Statements, mobile banking, ATM, and business banking applications
- Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s)
- Register as an MLO complying with the SAFE Act requirements
