Job Summary
The Relationship Banker serves as the branch’s primary point of contact for building and maintaining customer relationships, driving sales and service-oriented initiatives, and supporting branch operations. Responsibilities include developing tailored financial solutions for customers, promoting TexasBank products, educating customers on consumer banking and digital solutions (online banking, mobile apps, ATMs), referring complex goals to internal experts, handling teller duties (deposits, withdrawals, payments, PIN resets), and assisting Loan Officers with loan processing tasks. The role emphasizes compliance with bank policies, teamwork to resolve customer issues, and contributing to branch efficiency through support of operations and special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of retail banking experience
- Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software
- Solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Flexible to work weekends and/or extended hours, as needed
