Job Summary
Meet with customers and prospects in person and on the phone to determine financial needs and proactively offer appropriate products and guidance. Coach a team of bankers, oversee branch activities during the Branch Manager's absence, and resolve escalated issues including team scheduling and hiring input. Conduct outbound phone calls using generated lead lists to expand existing relationships and acquire new ones. Partner with branch leadership on new business development, educate customers on consumer and business products, and ensure branch operational and compliance tasks are met. This role tracks time for hours exceeding 40 per week and is eligible for overtime and incentive pay. Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
- Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
- Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
- Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
- Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
