Job Summary
Relationship Banker SR role focusing on expanding and maintaining client relationships in a branch setting; responsibilities include providing industry-leading client service in person and on the phone, offering financial solutions across deposit, credit, and retirement products, cross-training for teller duties, meeting and exceeding client service and sales targets, conducting consultative conversations to identify and refer complex financial needs to internal specialists, participating in sales and knowledge-building activities, advising on consumer lending options and taking loan applications, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and risk management policies. Strong emphasis on client relationship development, proactive communication, and delivering high-level service while supporting branch operations and occasional teller responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of client sales and service experience
- Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days including NMLS background check
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and occasional travel/overnights
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours
