Job Summary
Relationship Banker at Chase in Naperville, IL, will acquire, manage, and retain client relationships using financial knowledge to tailor product recommendations. Responsibilities include delivering attentive service, meeting with clients in person and by phone, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), learning products and procedures quickly, and collaborating with specialists to address complex financial needs while adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements. Key skills include consultative communication, problem resolution, risk awareness, and the ability to operate within branch hours including weekends/evenings.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through licensing program within 180 days of hire
- NMLS registration required under SAFE Act for active employment; ability to update registration as necessary
