Job Summary
Relationship Banker responsibilities include acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful client relationships; deliver attentive, hospitality-driven service; engage in consultative communication to understand and address clients' financial needs; educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs; learn products and procedures quickly to effectively advise clients and connect them with specialists; adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements; operate in a branch setting with the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and some evenings.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- College degree or military equivalent (preferred)
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act (for Loan Originator qualifications)
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration likely required
