Job Summary
Relationship Banker responsibilities include acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships with attentive service, understanding financial needs, and tailoring product and service recommendations. Communicate clearly to educate clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), and collaborate with a team of experts to address complex financial needs while adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided.
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification for Loan Originators. Your employment is contingent on compliance with SAFE Act requirements and related registration via NMLS.
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008; must register or update registration after start date.
