Job Summary
Responsible for providing an industry leading client service experience both in person and on the phone through development and expansion of new and existing client relationships. Provides financial solutions that meet client needs based on consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for additional business growth opportunities. Will be cross trained to perform required teller duties as needed. Essential duties include advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions related to deposits, credit, and other product lines; contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets; support team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex needs to internal specialists; participate in leadership routines; advance knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge; advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications; ensure compliance with policies; deliver a consistent client service experience during teller transactions and greet clients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 2 years of client sales and service experience
- Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment including NMLS checks
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and possible locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Experience with discussing, recommending and selling deposit, credit and retirement products
- SAFE/MLO license compliance within 30 days of employment
