Job Summary
Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch responsible for acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful client relationships. Deliver attentive, friendly service, educate clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), and tailor product and service recommendations to meet financial needs. Build trust through consultative communication, learn products and procedures quickly, collaborate with a team of experts to address specialized financial needs, and adhere to banking policies and regulatory requirements. Requires 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking or related fields, high school degree or GED, and licenses (SIE, Series 6, state registration) with eligibility to obtain licenses within 180 days. Must be able to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings. Prefer college degree or military equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position.
- NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 is required upon active employment; must register/update accordingly
