Job Summary
Relationship Banker (SAFE) to join Wells Fargo's National Branch Network, delivering trusted advice and long-term customer relationships across deposits, lending, investments, and digital banking. Responsibilities include proactively acquiring and growing a portfolio of consumer and business relationships, conducting discovery conversations to tailor banking strategies, coordinating with Wealth/Home Lending/Business Banking teams, driving digital adoption, handling account inquiries and service requests, ensuring risk and compliance with policies, and progressing licensed status to transition to the SAFE role. Requires FINRA licenses and state insurance licenses; typically a mid-level relationship-building role with Saturdays required in a branch network.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution
- 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
- State Insurance license(s)
- SIE (for certain FINRA qualification exams earned after Sept. 30, 2018) may be required in specified states
