Job Summary
Relationship Banker at Chase Branch in Lake Charles, LA responsible for acquiring, managing and retaining client relationships; provide consultative financial solutions, educate clients on technology and digital tools (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), and coordinate with team of experts to address financial needs while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Requires 1+ year sales experience in retail banking or financial services, high school degree or equivalent, relevant licenses (SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration, Life licenses) with eligible path to licensing within 180 days; must be able to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings; preferred college degree or military equivalent; exposure to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act requirements and NMLS registration obligations.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMorganChase’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- College degree or military equivalent (preferred)
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators and NMLS registration requirements (contingent on compliance)
