Job Summary
Manage customer service and product recommendations while actively staying current on bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Open new consumer and business accounts, process checks and deposits, issue money orders, and verify transactions to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. Deepen relationships with existing clients by identifying financial needs and cross-selling complementary services through in-branch visits and outbound calls. Support ATM operations, balance drawers, and handle cash shipments while maintaining strict security protocols for vaults and branch grounds. Obtain a Notary Public commission within the first year and meet performance goals consistently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain Notary Public commission within the first year of employment.
- 1-2 years of teller, customer service and/or sales experience.
- Basic knowledge and aptitude for math, working with numbers and cash handling.
- Proficient with computer software applications and utilizing internet-based applications.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic, focused on acting in the best interest of clients while considering the Bank's objectives.
- Attention to detail, ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address clients' needs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, easily engaging with clients of all types, work collaboratively to achieve goals, fostering and maintaining strong relationships, develop banking industry skills and possess qualities needed to provide an exceptional customer experience, work effectively as part of a team, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and at multiple market locations as required.
