Job Summary
Relationship Banker at Chase Branch focusing on acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships using financial knowledge to tailor product recommendations and educate clients on technology solutions like the Chase Mobile App and Chase.com. Responsibilities include delivering attentive service, building trust through consultative communication, meeting clients’ financial needs, educating clients on banking solutions, collaborating with a team of experts for complex needs, and adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements. Requires strong client-service orientation, effective communication, and ability to operate within risk parameters; includes working at a Chase branch location with weekend/evening hours and obtaining necessary licenses within 180 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include college degree or military equivalent and experience with banking policies and regulatory requirements, plus understanding of Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act and NMLS/Safe Act considerations.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- FINRA Series 6
- state registration (including 63 if required)
- Life licenses are minimum requirements
- All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMorganChase’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- NMLS registration required under SAFE Act of 2008
- Knowledge of banking products, services, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
