Job Summary
Develop and cultivate long-term client relationships by providing personalized financial solutions, cross-selling products, and educating clients on digital banking channels. Proactively resolve complex customer service issues, process transactions accurately, and refer clients to partners for mortgage, investments, and wealth management needs. Maintain contact through proactive outreach, lobby engagement, and periodic follow-ups to achieve sales targets and deepen existing accounts. Execute all banking operations in compliance with regulatory requirements while actively participating in community outreach efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum one year relationship-based client consultation and/or consultative sales experience
- Eligible to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or currently NMLS registered
- Minimum one year banking experience including deposit/transaction processing, account servicing, new account opening and consumer lending
- Currently registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or previously registered and eligible to immediately re-register
Desired Qualifications
- banking industry a plus
- Experienced bankers who have successfully completed the requirements of a Relationship Banker, including all new hire training and the Relationship Banker Learning Path within defined timeframes
- bankers with existing experience in a similar role at another financial institution
- Demonstrates consultative sales skills and strong service levels to build and deepen client relationships
- May manage an assigned client portfolio to handle all consumer banking relationship needs
- Encouraged to participate in their community through service in a Community Organization, Not-for-Profit volunteer, Business-Related Networking groups, or similar organizations
- Completes Relationship Banker Development Program to demonstrate advanced proficiency in role
