Job Summary

Develop and cultivate long-term client relationships by providing personalized financial solutions, cross-selling products, and referring clients to partners in mortgage, investments, and wealth management. Resolve complex customer maintenance and servicing issues while educating clients on digital solutions and emerging banking technologies. Achieve sales and service targets through proactive outreach, lobby engagement, and outbound calls to drive loan production and new account openings. Maintain accurate transaction processing and adhere to fraud prevention procedures and regulatory requirements. Complete required training and licensing, including NMLS registration, to manage client portfolios and deepen existing banking relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Minimum one year relationship-based client consultation and/or consultative sales experience
  • Eligible to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or currently NMLS registered
  • Minimum one year banking experience including deposit/transaction processing, account servicing, new account opening and consumer lending
  • Currently registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or previously registered and eligible to immediately re-register

Desired Qualifications

  • banking industry a plus
  • Experienced bankers who have successfully completed the requirements of a Relationship Banker, including all new hire training and the Relationship Banker Learning Path within defined timeframes
  • bankers with existing experience in a similar role at another financial institution
  • Demonstrates consultative sales skills and strong service levels to build and deepen client relationships
  • May manage an assigned client portfolio to handle all consumer banking relationship needs
  • Encouraged to participate in their community through service in a Community Organization, Not-for-Profit volunteer, Business-Related Networking groups, or similar organizations
  • Completes Relationship Banker Development Program to demonstrate advanced proficiency in role
