Job Summary
Relationship Banker at Chase in Corydon, IN: Build and manage meaningful client relationships by delivering attentive, friendly service and tailored financial solutions. Engage clients to understand needs, educate them on technology tools (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), and connect customers to team experts for specialized financial needs. Represent Chase culture with hospitality, ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and participate in branch hours including weekends and some evenings. Responsibilities include acquiring, managing, and retaining clients, proactive outreach in person and by phone, and providing consultative product features and benefits. Must quickly learn products, procedures, and banking solutions, and adhere to risk parameters. Requires high school degree or GED, SIE exam, Series 6, state registrations, and Life licenses with a 180-day licensing window; willingness to obtain licenses through JPMorganChase licensing program; preferred College degree or military experience; familiarity with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act and SAFE Act registration; ability to work within bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- College degree or military equivalent (preferred)
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act (regulatory qualification for Loan Originators)
- NMLS registration requirement after start date and compliance with SAFE Act
