Job Summary
As a Relationship Banker at Chase in Corydon, IN, you will acquire, manage, and retain client relationships using financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions, deliver attentive service, and educate clients on digital banking tools (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs). You will communicate consultatively to understand client needs, tailor product features and benefits, and collaborate with a team of experts to address specialized financial needs while adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires building trust through proactive client engagement, resolving issues with attention to detail, and meeting branch hours including weekends and some evenings. Licensing requirements include the SIE exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration, and Life licenses, with JPMorganChase licensing support provided if unlicensed, plus required NMLS registration under the SAFE Act. Preferred qualifications include a college degree or military equivalent, experience with banking policies, and familiarity with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank constraints for loan origination.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements
- All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 for this position is required upon active employment
