Job Summary
Relationship Banker (SAFE) at Wells Fargo serves as the primary point of contact for everyday banking needs across segments, cultivating consumer and business relationships, guiding customers toward financial goals via deposits, credit, and investments, and collaborating with Wealth/Home Lending/Business Banking teams to deliver integrated solutions. The role emphasizes proactive engagement, digital adoption education (self-service and mobile banking), accurate documentation, risk/compliance adherence, and ongoing coaching within a branch environment. Licensing path includes FINRA Series 6/63 and State Insurance licenses, with a temporary LP/License-Pending phase before transitioning to the licensed Relationship Banker role; weekend Saturdays are part of the schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution, demonstrated through work or military experience
- 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
- State Insurance license(s)
- Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
- Obtaining and maintaining required FINRA licenses is necessary for continued employment
- SAFE registration is required at the time of employment
