Job Summary
Manage customer service and product recommendations while developing and managing relationships using the Bank's Service Excellence Standards. Open new consumer and business accounts, process transactions including checks and deposits, and verify account balances to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Actively stay current on products, policies, and regulatory requirements by attending team meetings and completing mandatory training. Cross-sell complementary services during in-branch visits and outbound calls, and participate in business development initiatives to deepen existing customer relationships. Obtain a Notary Public commission within the first year of employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Obtain Notary Public commission within the first year of employment
- 1-2 years of teller, customer service and/or sales experience
- Basic knowledge and aptitude for math, working with numbers and cash handling
- Demonstrated customer service and oral and written communications skills
- Demonstrated passion and commitment to delivering experiences that enhance clients' financial well-being
- Basic organizational skills
- Proficient with computer software applications and utilizing internet-based applications
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic, focused on acting in the best interest of clients while considering the Bank's objectives
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address clients' needs, communicate clearly and confidently, easily engaging with clients of all types, work collaboratively to achieve goals, fostering and maintaining strong relationship, develop banking industry skills and possess qualities needed to provide an exceptional customer experience, and work effectively as part of a team
