Job Summary
Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch responsible for acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships using financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions; deliver attentive service, educate clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), and ensure compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements; requires 1+ year sales experience in banking/financial services and a high school degree or GED, with licenses and registrations (SIE, FINRA Series 6, state licenses, NMLS) to be obtained if not already held, and willingness to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 (as applicable)
- College degree or military equivalent (preferred)
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act - conditional requirements for Loan Originators (contingent on licensing)
- NMLS registration and ongoing compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Ability to build trusted relationships and tailor financial solutions
