Job Summary
Relationship Banker in a Chase Bank branch responsible for acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships while delivering attentive, consultative service. The role emphasizes understanding clients’ financial needs, tailoring product and service recommendations, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), and collaborating with experts for specialized needs. Requires strong communication, ability to resolve issues with attention to detail, adherence to banking policies and regulatory requirements, and flexibility to work weekends/evenings. Experience with 1+ year in sales within retail banking or financial services is expected, along with a high school degree or equivalent. Licensing requirements include SIE, FINRA Series 6 (and 63 if required), Life licenses, with JPMorganChase supporting licensing within 180 days of hire; NMLS registration is required for this position.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements; all unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- Note: ongoing regulatory qualification requirements including Truth in Lending Act and Dodd-Frank considerations for Loan Originators; NMLS registration and ongoing updates as required
