Job Summary

Proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities for cross-selling banking, lending, and investment products while resolving issues and educating them on digital tools. Develop and maintain strong relationships by understanding financial needs, prospecting for new clients through networking and lead calling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Deliver personalized, seamless service across in-person, phone, and digital channels to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with team members to drive branch sales targets and achieve or exceed sales goals.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education
  • 3+ Years Experience selling products and/or services in an incentive-based environment
  • 12+ Months Experience in Retail Banking sales, financial services sales or consultative relationship sales role in a related industry, with proven success in establishing new customers, deepening customer relationships and delivering results
  • 12+ Months Demonstrated successful Santander experience related to the essential functions and responsibilities of the Relationship Banker role
  • District Executive, District Operations Manager and Region President endorsement of performance
  • 12+ Months Customer service experience within a high volume, fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Established relationship-building skills with a focus on customer experience and loyalty
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others
  • Proven track record in sales and cross-selling products and services
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication, consultative and influence skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to display a credible, trustworthy, and professional image at all times
  • Proficient in using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement
  • Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to identify and escalate concerns of risk to appropriate channels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Computer proficiency and basic math skills
  • Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
  • Work Authorization & Sponsorship: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment

Desired Qualifications
