Job Summary
Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up, engaging them via in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide best possible counsel. Assess and attend to customers' banking needs by obtaining account information, demonstrating available deposit and loan products, and recommending solutions based on unique goals. Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products to open new accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications while educating clients on emerging digital self-service technologies. Provide a consistent optimal client experience by greeting clients and processing basic transactions with operational excellence and accuracy. This role requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including a criminal background and credit check. Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Satisfactory criminal and credit record
Desired Qualifications
- Less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
