Job Summary
Relationship Banker (SAFE) at Wells Fargo in the Ketchum/Hailey area — responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships, delivering tailored banking and credit strategies across deposits, lending, and investments, and partnering with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking teams to provide integrated solutions. The role emphasizes proactive discovery conversations, digital adoption, risk and compliance adherence, and delivering a differentiated customer experience through in-branch collaboration. The LP (license pending) pathway progresses to the SAFE role upon licensing completion, with ongoing training and licensing steps. Key duties include leading customer discovery, handling service requests, opening accounts, and ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up to reinforce trust and ease. The role requires FINRA licenses, insurance licenses, and adherence to regulatory requirements with a focus on strong relationship management and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs
- 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
- State Insurance license(s)
- Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
- Securities licensing and compliance requirements including SIE for certain qualification paths
- Background checks and enhanced financial fitness standards
