Job Summary
Relationship Banker at Chase Branch focused on building and maintaining client relationships through attentive, consultative service and knowledge of banking solutions. Responsibilities include meeting with clients in person and by phone to understand financial needs, tailoring product and service recommendations, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), learning products and procedures to consult effectively, and adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Requires solid sales experience in banking or financial services, strong communication skills, ability to resolve client issues with attention to detail, and readiness to complete licensing (SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registrations) and NMLS requirements; role may involve weekend/evening hours and ongoing regulatory training.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment, must register or update registration with NMLS
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators; contingent on compliance with SAFE Act and related requirements
- NMLS registration and ongoing compliance requirements

- Must comply with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements
