Job Summary
As a Relationship Banker in Jackson, NJ, you serve as a trusted advisor to customers, focusing on building strong, long-lasting relationships by understanding their financial needs and goals. You provide tailored solutions for banking, lending, and investment products while delivering exceptional customer service. You proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities for cross-selling, resolve issues, and educate them on digital banking tools. You collaborate with teammates to achieve branch sales targets and support the bank’s growth, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. You may prospect for new clients through internal and outbound interactions, networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management, and community engagement. You help meet customers’ transactional, servicing, and product needs, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Your role may involve supporting nearby branches based on business need.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education (as applicable in the description)
- 3+ years experience selling products in an incentive-based environment OR 12+ months experience in related banking sales roles
- Spanish optional or preferred language skills (not required)
