Job Summary
The Relationship Banker III handles opening new accounts, prepares new account paperwork, and requests identification, and processes consumer loan applications. It also includes teller transactions and cash vault duties with accurate balancing and risk controls. Provides superior customer service while adhering to bank policies, supports sales and servicing of bank products to help customers reach financial goals, and collaborates with the branch to meet team and individual scorecard goals. Key duties include identifying customer needs and offering appropriate products, maintaining cash drawers and vault, handling night depository deposits, contributing to internal controls and regulatory compliance, and completing required training to support product knowledge and lending processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with two years of banking experience and three years of cash handling and customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Must maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
- Must complete teller training classes.
- Must complete product knowledge, account maintenance and consumer lending training classes.
- Ability to pass a background check.
