Job Summary
Develop customer relationships and open personal and business deposit accounts; identify and sell consumer loan solutions; respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and refer cross-sale opportunities. Maintain compliance with operational and security policies, provide exceptional customer service, perform teller functions with cash drawer oversight, and balance as required. Prospect, plan selling strategy, and conduct cold calls; participate in calling programs and outside networking to solicit prospective business customers. Identify referrals for consumer loans or small business lending, assist with fresh start loans, and support cash management needs. May contribute to facility management and leadership responsibilities including training; serve as a Montana Notary Public validating documents and acting as impartial witness. Be prepared for possible responsibilities in consumer and small business lending and marketing relationships within the community.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- extensive knowledge of deposits, cash-handling, & consumer loan products and services
- 2 years of relevant sales experience
- Principles of Banking course
- 4-year college degree (accounting, business, finance, management or related) or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Leadership experience (preferred)
