Job Summary
Relationship Banker II at Murrells Inlet supports exemplary customer experiences, onboarding and servicing clients, cross-selling banking products, and referring clients to line of business partners. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries via in-person, phone, and email; using the CRM system to deepen client relationships; opening new personal and business accounts; assisting with maintenance and problem resolution; staying informed on policy changes for compliance; cross-training for teller duties; and performing other duties as assigned. Required skills include strong customer service and communication, ability to advise on bank products and services, and proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office; familiarity with deposit regulations and banking compliance is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent is required
- Additional banking or business courses are helpful
- Two or more years of prior retail banking and/or branch operations experience is strongly preferred
- Proven customer service and problem resolution experience
- Sales skills are needed for selling and cross-selling products and services
- Familiarity with banking compliance and deposit regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); keyboarding and calculating; experience with Jack Henry or other banking systems is helpful.
