Job Summary
In this customer-facing role, the Relationship Banker I will provide exceptional customer care assisting customers with banking transactions, addressing inquiries, and facilitating problem resolution. The position requires development of rapport with customers, processing basic banking transactions, safeguarding customer confidentiality, and maintaining compliance with laws and bank policies. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, experience in cash handling and customer service, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and community involvement.
Required Qualifications
- Comply with all required laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Timely completion of all assigned learning activities
- Actively participate in Banking Center meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions
- Participation/volunteerism in community groups and events
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months’ cash handling experience preferred
- Minimum six months’ customer service experience
- Prior customer relationship building experience
- Cyber security awareness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills
