Job Summary
The Relationship Banker I role centers on delivering an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and over the phone while helping customers achieve financial wellness. Responsibilities include processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions; addressing product and service inquiries; issuing new or replacement cards, PIN resets, check reorders, and basic problem resolution; nurturing customer relationships and staying informed about their banking needs; educating customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM) to simplify banking; assisting branch teammates with routine tasks; referring more complex financial goals to internal specialists; adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements; supporting achievement of branch targets; and may perform outbound calls to educate customers on new digital offerings and help meet financial needs. The role requires strong communication, customer service focus, and the ability to work Saturdays, lift up to 20 pounds, and operate a computer with sustained attention. The position is full-time with overtime eligibility and potential incentive opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
- Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
- Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
- Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
