Job Summary
Engage in consultative conversations with customers to build rapport, expand relationships, and identify financial needs. Accurately process traditional transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, and deposits for consumer and business clients. Answer complex questions on accounts, products, and policies while troubleshooting issues to ensure resolution. Proactively cross-sell deposit and loan products using a needs-based approach and leverage digital channels for customer outreach. Utilize the Salesforce platform for interactions and collaborate with the Branch Manager on lobby management and customer experience initiatives. Adhere to operational, regulatory, and security policies while balancing customer service with risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years of successful experience in a sales and service environment such as retail, hospitality, or financial services
- Must be or become a Notary Public and NMLS certified
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with ability to operate a wide variety of equipment and mobile devices
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong sales orientation with ability to balance multiple priorities and ability to adapt approach to different situations as needed
- Ability to work intuitively and find creative solutions should any problems arise
- Ability to work within normal office requirements, with long periods of standing inside and outside of a branch environment and continuous customer contact
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Willingness and ability to work within a flexible work week, which may include weekends, as customer needs dictate
- Ability to successfully complete our training program
