Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service to new and established financial institution clients, including cross-selling products and processing routine and complex transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Safeguard client assets by accurately balancing cash drawers, assisting with ATM and Night Drop maintenance, and adhering to strict operational controls and regulatory procedures. Use needs-based assessment tools to analyze customer inquiries, research service orders, and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance retention and uncover sales opportunities. Open deposit accounts, follow through on loan applications, and perform on-the-job training for new staff members while directing workflow as needed. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, bank policies, and relevant rules to exceed expectations in all servicing skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business curriculum
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to support multiple branch locations as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of coin
Desired Qualifications
- One year experience in a banking or customer service position preferred
- Demonstrated experience in banking and/or customer service
- Proficient analytical and mathematic skills, along with reading and writing skills
- Proficient communication, interpersonal and sales skills
- A comprehensive knowledge of operating policies and procedures which impact consumer services
- A thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of company consumer products and services
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
