Job Summary
As a Relationship Banker I, you will build and maintain client relationships, provide exceptional service to a diverse audience, introduce clients to banking products and digital solutions, and leverage knowledge of mortgage, business, and installment loan options to meet client needs. You’ll work within established guidelines, support other departments as needed, and use tablets, smartphones, and laptops to facilitate service. The role emphasizes communication, relationship-building, and helping clients understand financial products while maintaining a strong client-centric approach. This position offers training and coaching during onboarding with opportunities for advancement, and may include overtime and a flexible schedule. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus relevant banking/financial service experience and sales aptitude. Pay is hourly, with benefits and incentive plans as described by the employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous banking, cash handling or financial service experience
- 6+ Months of demonstrated successful sales experience
- Bilingual language skills
- Passionate and motivated self-starter
- A passion for educating clients on banking products and digital technologies available at the bank
- Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately
- Ability to think logically in order to analyze situations and make sound decisions
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Capacity to work with multiple computer and software systems
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as cash back and percentages
