Job Summary
Relationship Banker role at Chase branch in Hermosa Beach focused on building and managing client relationships with proactive, consultative service. Responsibilities include delivering attentive service, meeting with clients in person and over the phone, tailoring product and service recommendations, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), quickly learning products and procedures, collaborating with a team of experts, and adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- FINRA Series 6 license (or equivalent)
- State registration (including 63 if required)
- Life licenses (as minimum requirements)
- All unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses through JPMorgan Chase licensing program within 180 days of hire
- NMLS registration under the SAFE Act (where applicable)
- Criminal background review and related regulatory compliance steps
Additional Requirements
- Criminal conviction history review including pretrial diversions or program entries
- NMLS/Safe Act licensing and ongoing compliance requirements
- Truth in Lending Act / Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements
