Job Summary
Relationship Banker at JPMorgan Chase: Build lasting client relationships by delivering attentive, hospitality-driven service and tailored banking solutions. Responsibilities include meeting with clients in person and by phone, educating clients on technology tools (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), understanding financial needs, and collaborating with a team of experts to address specialized financial needs. Requires strong communication, ability to resolve client issues with attention to detail, and compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements; must be able to work weekends/evenings and obtain required licenses within 180 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include college degree or military equivalent, experience with banking policies, and familiarity with regulatory requirements including Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act and NMLS/SAFE Act processes.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMorganChase’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 and related ongoing compliance requirements
