Job Summary
Relationship Banker role supporting a high-touch banking experience across Wells Fargo branch offices. You will proactively acquire, manage, and grow consumer and business relationships, lead discovery conversations to tailor banking and credit strategies, collaborate with Wealth/Home Lending/Business Banking teams to deliver integrated solutions, educate customers on digital/self-service options to elevate satisfaction, and handle routine account inquiries and service requests while maintaining risk and regulatory compliance. The role requires licensing (FINRA 6/63, SIE, State Insurance) and ongoing licensing progression, with branch-based responsibilities and Saturday scheduling. This position is designed as a development path toward licensed Relationship Banker (SAFE) with clear expectations around customer relationship growth, deposit/lending/investment solutions, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience (or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education)
- 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or resolving issues
- 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
- State Insurance license(s)
- Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
- Licensing requirements including SAFE registration and ongoing compliance checks
