Job Summary
Relationship Banker at a Chase branch focuses on acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships using financial knowledge to tailor banking solutions. Responsibilities include delivering attentive service, meeting with clients in person and over the phone, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), learning products and procedures, and collaborating with specialists to address client needs while adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong communication, client-focused service, risk awareness, and the ability to operate within branch hours (including weekends). Preferred qualifications include a college degree or military equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements.
- All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided.
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
